A Trail of Bread Crumbs

Of course the proximity to Gettysburg leads to many visitors who pass through town, but no visitor more famous than the armies that made Gettysburg what it is.  This marker found on the road between CV and Gettysburg offers a brief explanation of the retreat and its obstacles.  There are many like this around the area, but I like how this one stands out against the background for all to see.  April 5, 2011
